Threshing Floor of Araunah

Hi there! I am Unako Mabusela. Threshing Floor Of Arunah is a vision that has been placed in me, inspired by 2Samuel 24:18 “And God came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite.” And the life of David as a whole. How he made it his primary mandate to serve the Lord even though he held a position of authority amongst the Isralietes, how he'd repent each time he went astray and always be found glorifying Him alone. From the many men and women who encountered and walked with God, David is the one who secured the most beautiful description I think. God describes him as the man after His own heart. In this day and age can't we live a life resembling that of David? Seek after the heart of God and put all materialistic and fleshly desires on hold? Can't we too, be uncomfortable in our luxuries if it is void of His presence? Treshing Floor of auranah may be a blog written by Unako but every element of it has nothing to do with my personal agendas and everything to do with glorifying God. Here, we are about laying aside ourselves, our desires and this absurd idea we have that God is God because of what He offers us. This whole blog is to acknowledge Him for who is, as it is our primary purpose to give Him glory, and also I hope to spark the love that others haven't yet experienced for Him while rekindling it back to those whose fire have burnt out. One thing I've discovered as I spent more time studying the Word of God is how people's opinions, through books and socials, have kind of influenced my entire view on a lot of things. It is not my place to condemn or pin point people's wrongs or act as though I'm better than the next. Through TFOA, I wish to create a community that is willing to hear more from God, a collective of people who'll engage in issues facing our generation of Christians by taking them to the word.
