One of the myths that many have fallen for is the fact that after death, one automatically makes his way to heaven, of which that is not true. Heaven is not a place for mediocres, like you don't get to live anyhow, doing whatever tickles your fancy and be led by the things of the world and expect to find yourself in heaven after death. Heaven is excessively sacred, it's an extraordinary setting that God put up for those who are deserving; you earn your place there by choosing to pick your cross and follow Jesus on a daily basis. John 10:9 I am the gate if anyone enters through me he will be saved. Going to church, being a good citizen or living whichever way pleases you does not guarantee an entrance to heaven, a continuous relationship with whom who died for us, daily sacrifices and a lifestyle that that testifies of God is key. This is not our first blog about heaven, how ever on our previous blog we were just scratching the surface.

Heaven is far more interesting than Earth, it is so unpredictable yet somehow we still find ways of comparing it to the things of this world. The things we work towards to and stuff we regard as precious on this side of life don't posses as much value in heaven. the mansions in heaven have foundations built from precious stones; rubies, jaspers and the works. The streets are made from gold. It does sting a bit to know that nations wage war, colonise and commit genocide just so they can have complete control over over these precious minerals that is basically tar in heaven, just something to step on. 1 Corinthians 2 NLT [9]That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, ā€œNo eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.ā€ Our human minds cannot try to picture the things God speaks of in the scripture, and it's only human to think of health and riches but every single day that side will have us in awe as we discover the unimaginable that awaits us when we get there. The curiosity of what could be better than any beauty we've ever seen, any riches we've heard of or the health that doctors and scientists are still working towards should make us press on till the great reveal of His mighty Splendour and majestic love. We will get to ask questions, our minds will be broadened to be like His, perceiving things from His perspective will never be an issue. 1 John 3:2-3 NLT [2]Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. [3]And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. The New Jerusalem ( Ultimate destination) When mentioned in the bible, the New Jerusalem is described as the moment when the bride is waiting for it's husband. It also makes mention of the new heaven and new Earth meaning that the existing will pass and make way for the new one and the city will come from God in heaven. 'Scripture; nothing impure...' This one is prepares only for those whose names are written in the book of life. Revelation 22:1-2 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The rivers we see and marvel at now is nothing compared to the one which is described in the bible as ā€œclear as crystalā€šŸ˜ And the tree of life that bearing fruit and yielding fruit every month 😱 imagine a tree that harvests different fruits every MONTH. The foundation of the city has twelve layers, all made of different precious stones, three on each corner of the Earth, and each with a gate made of precious stone; emerald, pearls and all the stones there are. Did I mention that each will have an angel on guard? In this new city, it is written that no more will we ever experience, pain, suffering and there'll be no more nights. God will physically and permanently dwell in that city. The bible further describes that in this city there'll be no need for the stars, moon or sunlight for the glory of God will be our light, the streets made of gold as clear as crystal. That city will be abundant with fruits that change constantly, it's leaves will bring healing; God will be restoring the order that was in the garden of Eden. This means that the curse that was spoken will be nullified; no man will attain food by the sweat of his brow nor a woman experience labour pains. Things will go back to His original intent that was, before the curse.😬 The New Jerusalem will be sprouting with springs of life, where you drink and never thirst again.ā¤ļøĀ Ā
